Deposit checks from almost anywhere.

Need to deposit checks, but don't want to head to the branch? Capture an image of your check and deposit it directly into your account instead.

Start by setting up your e-Branch User ID on your desktop or laptop computer, then download our free mobile banking app to your smartphone.

 

 

What is mobile check deposit?

 

Mobile check deposit allows your to capture an image of your check and deposit it directly into your account. Protected by 128-bit SSL encryption technology, you can deposit your checks by logging into the MIT FCU mobile app or Online Banking.

Once your check image is reviewed, we will release it for processing. You will be notified via email when your deposit has been accepted.

  • Deposits received before 4pm on a business day will be credited the same day
  • Deposits after 4pm will be credited the next business day
  • Deposits beyond $1,000 may require a longer review period before funds are made available
 

How to make mobile & online deposits

 

Mobile check deposit

Use the MIT FCU mobile app to scan and deposit your check.

  • Open app and select "check deposit" tab at bottom of screen
  • Place check on a dark background in a well-lit area and make sure all edges of the check fit within the outlined area
  • Enter total deposit amount
  • Submit

Online check deposit

Log into Online Banking and select e-Deposit under Additional Services tab.

  • Endorse check
  • Use "select" to choose your scanner. 
  • Enter total deposit amount
  • Scan checks
