Mobile App and Online Account Deletion Request

To request removal of your Online Banking or Mobile app accounts and related data, send an email request to info@mitfcu.mit.edu with the subject line "Remove App Account." One of our representatives will contact you to confirm the request is valid and initiate the process.

By request, MIT FCU will delete all associated data held in our digital and online banking system. This data will no longer be accessible or available to any party. If you should have any questions, please call 781-423-2022 or email info@mitfcu.mit.edu.

Once you remove Online Banking or Mobile app accounts and related data:

  • You will no longer be able to log in to online banking or the MIT FCU mobile app.
  • You cannot see electronic copies of past account statements. If you have opted to receive electronic statements and/or tax documents, your preferences will be changed to paper statements and paper tax documents. Please download all account statements you need before contacting us to delete your account.
  • Your activity within online banking or the mobile app will be deleted. This will include account alerts, bill pay activity and payees, Account to Account transfers, and external transfers.
